MineHold left mouse, F or R2 to swing the pickaxe. Vein cubes become chunks that fly to you; follow a vein into the rock. Bare rock carves into cubes, so you can dig anywhere.
InventoryL1 / R1 (1-8, scroll or [ ] on a keyboard) cycle: Pickaxe, Bomb (bounces, 2.6 s fuse), Sticky Bomb (clings to the first surface), Grapple (fire at rock within rope range and get reeled there; fire again to let go), Rope Anchor (aim at the lip of a drop and plant the stake; press E at it to clip in, then hold back to belay down as the rope pays out; wherever you stop or let go the line stays set, and E at the line clips on again to climb or descend; a pickaxe strike on the stake recovers it), Flare (four in the belt, they recharge), Beacon (plant it on any flat ground; the guide line shows green when the sky above is open and red where rock blocks it. A blocked beacon stays dormant until you open the ceiling above it. To move it, break it loose with three pickaxe strikes; the vessel lands on the beacon). R2 uses the selected item.
Quick keysThe grapple also fires from D-pad up, G or middle mouse, and a flare from X / Square or Q, without selecting them. Boost: keep holding the jump button in the air to thrust upward while the fuel meter lasts; it refills when you let go.
CargoChunks you mine fly to you and stack in the backpack: 9 slots, one mineral per slot, 50 per stack (upgrades add slots and bigger stacks). Deploy a Container on flat ground and it catches whatever the backpack cannot take, up to 300 chunks. Press E beside it to unload your pack into it, press E again to shoulder it (you walk slower) and carry it to your planted beacon, where E delivers it. Only delivered cargo counts toward the quota.
MissionYou drop in through a shaft from the surface. Deliver the Morkite and Nitra quotas shown top-left to your planted Extraction Beacon. Plant it anywhere; it fires only where its guide line reaches the sky (the entry shaft, a sinkhole, or a ceiling you open). Once it fires, a vessel bores down and lands on it, and you have two minutes to walk into it.
CraftE at the workbench in the landing chamber opens the Fabricator. Everything you mine also fills a wallet; spend it on levelled upgrades for every tool, such as longer grapple rope, bigger blasts, extra charges. Upgrades are saved in this browser.
